Our solution

We installed a multi-layer built-up bituminous roof comprising:

• Vapour dispersion layer for controlled moisture management.

• High-performance PIR insulation to reduce heat loss and improve energy efficiency.

• Reinforced bituminous layers finished with a mineral cap sheet for UV and weather protection.
  All penetrations, perimeters and outlets were detailed to manufacturer standards, with QA checks at each stage.

Delivery & challenges

• Live site coordination: Sequenced works with multiple contractors to prevent clashes and keep the programme on track.

• Variable weather: Adjusted phasing around warm spells and rainfall to protect the deck and ensure dry, high-quality bonds.

• Work at height: Operated under strict RAMS, edge protection and hot-works controls to maintain productivity and compliance.
